Hi @SBDOBRESCU It’s working OK but still has a long delay, around 6 seconds…
Can you offer any assistance on the below? I rang my Ring doorbell at 15:59:36 and the message to play didnt reach the sonos until 15:59:42. I have several XML debug messages in live logging as below:
Those look like Ring logs. Unfortunately you are up against multiple clouds and in my experience, Ring is pretty slow… I tend to say that 6 seconds is fairly decent.
@SBDOBRESCU Is it possible to get the message variables updated during the reminders? If I had &time in the message, have it updated to the current time.
Where are you stuck? You need to install and publish (for me) both apps in ide. Then, you need to go in Marketplace and install the RemindR app (not the profile). Once you click done, you will need to go out of the Marketplace and into your “Automation” page. Under SmartApps tabe you will see RemindR (see picture). That’s where you configure your profiles.
I am not sure if I missed it, but is there a quick tutorial on how to use this? I have both apps installed and see them in ST Marketplace My Apps. What’s the difference between RemindR and ReminR Profiles? Is Profiles based on a user profile that you create, or is it another name for routine? Sorry if this sounds dumb.
You only need to open the RemindR in your “marketplace” and click done, then go to SmartApps tab under Automations to create first reminder (profile). Think of the Profile app as the place holder of your reminders.
Hi other question here, I want to receive notification when one door still open like every 5 minutes, I Set Up this but after I close the door I am still receiver notification.
I can’t seem to get it to work with lannouncer. I select lannouncer as a speech synthesizer but i do not see any speak commands being sent in lannouncer’s recent tab. I did confirm lannouncer is working with Core.
I tried setting lannouncer as a notification device… When I do that I can see it receives “deviceNotification” commands followed by the message string but that does not result in any speech.
