Nothing to do with the DTH, it to do with how the lock is installed and operated. That message is being sent by the lock. Either the lock is being opened/closed too slowly or your deadbolt isn’t perfectly aligned with the door frame and is scraping it (and yes it does tend to lose alignment over time when doors are slammed etc), try adjusting your mounting of the lock and alignment to the door frame. The lock is very sensitive to resistance and speed. See this post:

Per suggestion looked at the mounting of my schlage lock, noticed that the deadbolt barely grazed the deadbolt hole but that was enough to send ‘jammed’ signal. Shaved about 1-2mm ~1/16" of the deadbolt hole where it was barely touching and ever since no ‘Jammed’ false positive signals. Smooth as hot butter deadbolt operation. This device handler is great!

It is extremely sensitive, even when I manually lock my schlage connect if the lock doesn’t turn all the way (even that little bit where the deadbolt doesn’t extend anymore) you get a jammed notification. There appears to be about 5-10 degrees of wiggle room where the deadbolt doesn’t extend/retract. At least for me lol.
