# \[OBSOLETE\] Double Switch 2 FGS-223 HELP

Hi  
Anyone know why by using this DH, devices shown as “Checking status…” only on the smartthings new app, the old classic works great.

I think…  
The DH needs the ocfDeviceType in the definition field. May also need a poll command/capability.

The new app does not work with all custom DTHs. And some will require modification. See the following.
