Kept playing - It was MY mistake in the IDE / Device Handler — I do have it installed ! have live video feed within the ST APP a dream come true ! Thank you Ben ! As well I have installed the Smart app “Smart Security Camera” - i will have to play more BUT SO FAR this is Great! Thank you for all of your work and contribution to the ST community.
Two quick questions so far:
Do you have to set up a FTTP server for the images (snap shots / video clips to be sent to?) I don’t get "where they are going " Email Address?
How do you “set” the preset 1,2,3 (pan and tilt positions )? Is there a wiki or further instructions? IF so I am willing and able to read it - just wasn’t sure if you have support docs? Don’t want to waste your time.
You can either setup a FTP connection or an email, basically you’re just setting up a way to store images/video recorded by the motion trigger. These settings are found in the camera’s advanced settings webpage.
The presets are also something you set up through the camera’s advanced settings webpage. You will have to follow the instructions from D-Link in order to set them up.

I went to the DLink App to “set up” the presets (I chose 3 to coordinate within the ST app). Within the DLink App they “work” I hit either 1,2, or 3 and it pans / positions to the setting I had selected and named.
When I go back to the ST mobile App and hit either 1,2,or 3 it does not change to the Presets I had set up in DLINK.

I am still working with the camera to gain “full functionality” as you intended.
I am not able to Pan/ tilt the camera within the ST APP when I open the camera I do have live feed! If I try to use the < > up down the camera does not change positions.
the 3 Presets still seem to be giving some issue. - i have them set up in the DLINK app - I have changed the “name” to a number only “1” etc but have not been able to resolve. This includes the home button too.
Did I miss something in “set UP”?
I am not receiving email (notifications) as well… again I set email credentials up in the DLINK app - I do see the “notification” within the ST APP - just no “snap shot” as i expected.

Sorry for the delay - really busy day. I do believe that all the IP address/ port etc is correct. I am able to receive email (too many the first day is a matter of fact
This may be a bad night to trouble shoot, as there has been ST degradation of Smart Apps today.
Currently I am not able to get a live feed within ST, however when I open the DLINK lite app, the camera and feed are working correctly.
I played with the ptz as well as presets but can’t manage to gain control of the functions - Here is a screen short that show the “button tiles” were selected but on my end nothing happened (you will have to take my word for that )
That screenshot tells me SmartThings isn’t receiving a response from the camera when it’s sending the commands.Can you watch the live log when trying to use the PTZ commands and let me know what it says?
