I’m looking to secure our gated front garden area.
The plan is for smart cameras with NVR, likely POE, and possibly something like the “Swann Line Crossing Detection”
Triggering:
1 - security lighting (hopefully not reliant on internet to trigger)
2 - an audible chime (not reliant on internet to trigger)
3 - notifications on family members’ mobiles.
As my parents get older, we have some security concerns.
The plan is to have the majority of the system not reliant on an internet connection, but I understand that it will of course be necessary in some areas.
The NVR will need to record, and save to the cloud as well, but this is fairly standard fare these days.
