No connection

I have had a door sensor in my mailbox for over 10 years and then it worked perfectly. It’s approximately 30 feet from the house and the connection has always been outstanding. Everything else is still working, but that no longer is able to connect. Any ideas I have changed the device to a newer one with no improvement.

Do you mean no longer connects when it is in the mailbox but it does closer to the hub or that it doesn’t even pair and can’t add it to SmartThings? Might be a interference issue.

It disconnect when it’s closer to the hub. In my mind nothing has changed related to my account and the thing is always worked. One thing I did not say as several days ago, three of my in wall switches stopped working as well as loss connection with several leak detectors. The wall detectors still are not working and I’ve ordered three more but the leak detectors are back online

I even tried a Zooz 800 z wave door device with no luck

have you run z-wave repair? Have you power cycled all your main powered z-wave devices? have you rebooted the hub?
