I understand that there is an “official” integration with TP-Link Kasa devices and the community integration by Dave Gutheinz has been deprecated.
TP Link have released a newer cheaper Kasa smart plug but some of the reviews are poor stating regular disconnection from Wifi One user MAG stated he had been working with TP-Link to resolve the issue which I believe was around DHCP/DNS but his last update was 2020. Have any community member recently purchases these plugs and has this issue been fixed with a firmware update?
