New Tablet Layout - Tile Standards

With the new Tablet layout we now have to consider how tiles will be presented on 2 different interfaces. Will there be any new documentation that will provide standards to follow that will ensure some consistency across device types(phone vs tablet)?

P.S. Many of my device handlers looks pretty crappy on the tablet side.
