New smartthings app on IOS Presence detector?

So i installed the new Smartthings app on my iPhone 6s

And even though I activate localisation all times for the smartthings app on my phone settings, but little icon for localisation doesn’t appear (it does for other apps)

Which means I can’t add my phone as a presence detector

The short answer is that the common consensus is that you should not use the new app until you have been contacted by Smartthings to migrate. So if you choose to use the new app nonetheless, you should not expect everything (or anything for that matter) to work in it.

If you search, you’ll find a number of discussions that detail why you shouldn’t use the new app.

I’d go back to the Classic (older) app.
