New Actionetec Router, hub constantly going offline

My Verizon DSL router died, the rep put in the Actiontec router, now my hub drops offline at least a dozen times a day. I have to reset, or unplug/replug the enet cable. The router is not interrupting service to anything but my hub. The new firmware didn’t help.

I have seen a problem with ATT routers that can be fixed with a setting for Broadband activity reporting, but I can’t find anything like that in my hub setup.

What kind of settings should i be looking for?
