Id like to see nest protect be supported to its full potential. Im new to automation world and dont yet fully understand how to write or even use code to create a device. Nest products are nice but come packed with features including motion detection in the protect v2. Please if anyone could help or even show me how to put the code in to the system to make this work, id be most greatful.
You are unlikely to see any official integration from SmartThings due to Nest refusing to play nice with open systems. There are however community created devicetypes that support limited functionality but it doesn’t look like anyone has been able to get all of the functionality that you’re looking for.

Nest does not expose this, but you’re more than welcome to reverse engineer it into existence.
