You don’t. Have to use the Classic app.

can’t connect to device. check device and try again. I’m not useing the Classic app.
As Jimmy said. You HAVE to use a Classic for it to work.

I believe you MUST use the SmartThings Classic App with the community written Nest Integration.
SmartThings has NOT told users to migrate from the Classic App to the newer App yet. ST recommends users continue to use the Classic App.

I had to migrate from the Classic App to the newer App.
Why? No one HAS to migrate. Your account may have been migrated to a Samsung account. But that does not mean you cannot still use the Classic App.
