I am currently using smart lighting to turn on living room light with motion in the room. But I don’t know of a good way to set it up so it won’t turn on if I turn it off. For example I’m watching a movie and turn it off and then grab the remote and light turns back on. I was thinking of having it set to not turn on if tv is on but that doesn’t seem to good because wouldn’t turn on when I’m not really using tv but it’s on. Any ideas?

Created a virtual switch called “Living Room Schedule”.
I make this part of the conditions. If the schedule is off certain automations don’t run.
I turn the schedule on/off with both Alexa and my Harmony remote.
