I’ve had a SmartThings hub for about a year… Slowly added things to it…
About 2-4 weeks ago things started to get really inconsistent… I say this because I never had 100% success with my environment but I would say that for at least 6 months I have had 90-95% success rate…
Now, I’m probably under 50%… I have one of my visonic open/close sensors on my garage door… When it opens I have one of my smart switches turn on the garage lights… When it closes, it turns the lights off… This is very hit or miss…
I have a routine to turn on a switch that has exterior lights, and then turn on 4 smart bulbs on at a certain time… Sometimes it will turn on 1-3 bulbs instead of all of them… Again, very inconsistent…
I have a routine for our bedroom where I use Alexa and say “good night”… It would turn on 2 of my peanut switches, turn off the ceiling fan light, and turn the ceiling fan on medium… This is barely ever working now…
I have rebooted the hub (unplugged and took the batteries out). I went into the app and did the “repair z-wave network”… Neither have helped…
Any ideas? Thank you!

in the web ide, what is shown for status of the devices? Have you moved or disconnected any of the peanut plugs recently? Moved you’re wifi router at all? Added a USB 3.0 hub?
Most of my devices are online / active in the IDE…
I do have 6 devices showing offline… However, 1 is a known bad sensor, 3 are smart bulbs but their normal switch is off… However, one of my Z-Wave switches and my Fortrezz Water Valve are both showing offline… Not sure what that is about…
Within the past month, I did try putting in a different WAP… It didn’t work out so I returned it and replaced it with what was originally there… Then I also tried a PowerLine adapter, but recently unplugged it as it’s not going to work either… However, both of those were added / removed during this timeframe…
So, as of right now, I’m back to exactly the way things have been for the past year… Same location of router, same location of WAP, same location of Smart hub…
I would start with the two offline z-wave devices. try a z-wave repair. If it consistently fails for those devices, try using z-wave replace. If it fails, try excluding them and re-adding, if that fails force remove them, exclude and re-add.
So I tried the rebuild, see pic… Then I tried the replace, see second pic… Then I ran out of time to try further things…
What’s strange is that I can’t even manually do things… Like my one peanut plug that is literally right by my hub doesn’t respond… In the app it will just say “turning on…” and never turn on… or off…
Then, my garage lights… Which turn on via a smart switch when an open/close sensor activates will just randomly go on… Assuming it’s reacting to an open/close, sometimes just hours later!
Here’s what I did last night… Ran the repair a few times, no dice… So I decided to go down to my water valve and just unplug / plug it back in (should have done that from the get go)… I did that, and then open/closed the valve via the app successfully…
Then, I updated the handler for the Inovelli switch with the one they provide on their site… That bought it online too… I tested a few things and things seemed to be good/back to normal…
I get up this morning and none of my bedroom things turned off when I did the Alexa command… I open the app and try manually, nothing worked…
I checked the web IDE and now all these show offline!?
