I have just installed 2 Multireg z-wave thermostats (or known as HeatIt these days). When I add it to my SmartThings hub v2 it gets registered as Home Energy Meyer instead of a thermostat. Anyone who knows what I can do differently?
It’s probably just a device fingerprint issue. Go into the IDE and then find those devices in My Devices. Edit them and change Type to be zwave thermostat (from the drop down list).
Thank you very much! Didn’t even know such a “portal” existed. Have changed it now. Just need to figure out what Thermostat application that is right for the device. I could not find the brand that I have, so I have used z-wave thermostat.
