Moes Zigbee Scene Switch 3 Gang

Hi,

I am VERY new here. In fact Gemini sent me here, but I can’t seem to find what I am in need of.

I have a Aeotec Smart Home Hub (current generation) and I am trying to get a Moes 3 Button Scene Remote Control to work. It never really sets up right (either gives me 1 entry, or 4), and I cannot get it to execute a control at all.

Gemini thinks I may need to add a driver. Does anyone have this driver? I can still return the Moes if need be.

Thanks!

Could you share Information view so we know the manufacturer and model?

Thank you. Right please let me update where I am.

If I use the SmartThings web site, these are present in my Hub → Installed Drivers

But if I go to Zigbee Switch 1 (which is listed as ZIGBEE → Local → Online)

The only driver being presented is “Zigbee Switch” which seems to do nothing.

Install from this

driver ZCL Controls wonjj6768

The device fingerprint
_TZ3000_1kmurvlx TS0043 buttons-button-3-battery`

can be found in the list of devices supported by the driver.

Remove the device and reinstall it. Do not just change the driver.

In my test, this device worked using the same driver.

I have joined the channel, added the driver, and changed the Zigbbee to that driver, all as shown below.

Would you be willing to tell me what to do next? I don’t see anything to change for the device fingerprint, and at this point, I’m not even sure how to test the switch. Any help is really appreciated!

Thanks!

Check after installation that your device’s Device Profile is buttons-button-3-battery

That absolutely worked. You are amazing!

My next problem is beyond the scope of our discussion. I have LightingInSide bulbs which are controllable only through the SmartLife app (i.e., no QR codes). I can’t get the switch to interact with them because they don’t show up in SmartThings. I tried creating a Scene in SmartLife, which usually shows up in SmartThings and via that Scene I can control things, but the scene is not showing up as a “device” for the Zigbee.

If you have an idea, awesome. If not, you have been amazing!

Get rid of it and buy an IKEA KAJPLATS bulb.

Try this

Thank you very much. The weird thing is that sometimes the Lightinginside bulbs come with a QR code and sometimes they don’t. And they all say “Matter Enabled”. I just got the rest of the living room bulbs (12), so I might just use the Zigbee controller with those since they handle directly, and look into Andreas’ suggestion of getting rid of the bulbs without QR codes.

I want to thank you so much for walking me through this. I dont understand why something as expensive as the Aeotec Smart Home hub requires this many hoops, when it says “Zigbee” on the box!
