#226

Do you have your location set in the Smartthings app?

(Aaron) #227

That did it! I set a location and all worked.

Thanks so much! This works great!

(Danny Melcher) #228

Hello, I am extremely new here, just trying first app install. I have completed all per instructions. After successful login, all my devices are there, including other stations I am a member of and after selecting my devices (indoor and outdoor device) and setting all options I get an “unexpected error occurred”. Below is the live logging generated:

Have you set your location for the hub in the Smartthings app? If not, go to the settings in the Smartthings app and set your location on the map and try again

(Danny Melcher) #230

Cschelene,

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have checked that. Location is set in the app. When I go to the list of myapps in the smarttings api site, should the last column (locations) have the site location name listed? It does not?

(Danny Melcher) #231

I also noticed the client ID and Secret that I put in the settings also change to something else when the Oauth is enabled. Is this normal?

(Danny Melcher) #232

cscheiene,

Although already set, I slightly modified location in app, and it worked! Thanks for having me check this again and for the fantastic work making this available!

#233

Also joining in here - first of all: thank you for all the work, it’s greatly appreciated.

I got the Weather Station working no problem. However, for the Healthy Home Coach the Smartapp won’t show any devices. When clicking on “Select Devices”, it’ll just show “No available options”. Any idea why I could be doing wrong here?

#234

@SBDOBRESCU have done the Healthy Home Coach part, maybe he could give some inputs

If you could give us some logs from when you try to add the devices it would be helpful

(Bobby) #235

If you got the weather to work, there is no reason for the Health Coach not to. Logs would help with the events when it tries to discover your devices.

(Danny Melcher) #236

Anyone able to guide me to info on how to increase the font size/color etc to make it easier to read? I have tried to research/modify on my own, but can’t find right place to do so. I know this is a basic question…just trying to learn. Thanks.

ok, I think this is the relevant part:

I don’t want to sound thick, but on the DTH page for setup which one do I pick. I have the basic Netamo unit with indoor and outdoor.s-l64

(Danny Melcher) #239
  • cscheiene : Netatmo Basestation controls the indoor unit
-cscheiene : Netatmo Outdoor Module controls the outdoor unit

(Joel W) #240

Thank you.

  1. I setup Github, and when I clicked it said updates required for the app and device types. Did I make a mistake by updating from the OP’s Github using the built in integration?

  2. I have all setup except the coach. Do I need that?

I just ordered my Netatmo off Ebay.

#241

Working fine. Thanks for the job.

(Joel W) #242

Would someone please provide me with the GitHub settings for updates? Thanks.

(Bobby) #243

I didn’t set up the GitHub to integrate with ide…

(Joel W) #244

OK thanks, I am just one of those anal retentive types. I have been doing building automation for 32 years, yes 32 years. My first one was run on a paper tape reader. But anyway I just like uniformity. OK I agree, I go to far. Thanks.

honestly can’t make this work - whenever I get to choosing the sensor I get that error message. Is there an obvious mistake I’m making?
