@jkp jkpthe Homey pro seems very interesting…. whats the catch??? if it does eveything why arent wr seeing articles about it all over the web or at least tech sites. I dont rememebr the person’s name, but I rememebr reading about one of the users on this site who does a tech show & he mentioned the homey pro but he got pushback about it. Ill be honest, I thought homey pro was an LG smart hub.

Nice to see that this **is** UL certified.
The only caveat I see is that the operating range only goes up to 105°F, so I wouldn’t put it in an attic. But otherwise, very nice specs. ![]()
Technically, it is, since LG acquired the company that makes Homey about a year ago. But that was kind of like Samsung acquiring smartthings. It’s still being developed as a complete platform.
Pricing:
Each new installation starts with a one-month free trial; afterward, the service costs $4.99 per month or a one-time fee of $149 for a lifetime license, which can be transferred to a new system in the event of a hardware change.
Thats good news. Hopefully more brands get added.
Tapo is also already working on it. Matter support for some cameras via firmware update.
Has this device in both the presence sensor and light reading modes worked well for you?
I haven’t tried the Meross sensor, I just posted the announcement. I’m using the aqara MM wave sensor, and I’m happy with that one.
This went under the radar:
