My hub is the ST v.2. The firmware states 59.09. Updates are set to automatic with the option for manual. How do I manually update the hub? (Galaxy S-25+)
Thanks..

I believe you are looking at firmware updates for devices and not the hub. Currently, there is no option to update the hub on your end. It is handled from ST’s end. 60.x should get pushed to your hub between March 25 through April 3.
Thanks for the clarification.
One quick question. Is 59.09 the current version of the ST Hub v.2 (2018)? I read about 60.11 but my hub is still 59.09. Thanks for the help.
60.x is currently rolling out to hubs. The deployments runs to April 3rd
one other item to note: users do not have the ability to delay hub updates.
I am trying to see if my system is even updating. It currently has 59.09. I have read about 60.11 and I read that the next version is 60.12. So, it seems my system did not receive any version newer than 59.09 if I read that there is already a 60.11. So my question is, “What is the current version?”
Thanks.
Anyone know what the last version of 50.x was? I have been on 60.x fit the past two months and can’t remember.
if your hub, does not update by April 4th, you will know if your hub is not updating.
Version 60.12 is currently being rolled out to the SmartThings hubs (V2, V3 and V4, including the Aeotec and ThingsOne versions).
The previous release was 59.8 for the V3 and V4 but the V2 hubs had a separate, later rollout to avoid too much going on around Christmas and the New Year and they actually received 59.9. Most V3 and V4 hubs were left on 59.8.
If something undesirable is discovered during the 60.12 rollout we might see a general 60.13 (or higher) release but it isn’t that common and the next significant release should be 61.x, where x depends on how many release candidates they go through in testing.
Version 60.11 that you mentioned was one of the beta releases of the firmware. The open beta testing for release 60 started with 60.5 two months ago and went through six more minor releases (skipping 60.6) before arriving at 60.12.
Excellent. Thank you. It will be resolved upon the 60.12 (or not) update on my system. Again, thank you.
