Macro to mimic sunrise

I am a recent refugee from Revolv. I added my philips hue and am trying to recreate something I did on my revolv for my daughter,

Here is the scenario.

Every night at 7pm philips hue bulb turns to purple (her favorite color)
Every morning at 5:45 start a sunrise simulation (color change from deep purple to warm every 15 minutes with a ramp of intensity with each step)

Anyone ever tried this?

I only found a post last year that mentioned using the hue app.

There’s a gentle wake SmartApp that does similar, except the endpoint is daylight (at a 6500k color temperature). It might be possible to tweak that to get the specific sunrise colors you want.
