Lutron caseta in-wall switch with Kendal LED ceiling fan

Hi all,

Will the lutron caseta in-wall dimmer work with a ceiling fan? Not interested in managing the speed of the fan but more in dimming the LED lights of the fan.

Lutron typically has excellent customer service, I would get in touch with them and ask. There’s nothing specific to the SmartThings platform one way or the other that would change any answer you get from them. (Of course, you don’t want to connect the fan motor to the dimmer, but you may be able to attach only the fan’s light control, I just don’t know.)

No, do not install a dimmer on the Fan. I used Lutron Casetta On/Off switches for the fans.
