I created a feature request about this and shared it with the team. However, it can take a while for them to review it and implement it in case it gets approved.
If I hear anything about this, I’ll let you know.
I asked Phil if he could merge his beta code back into his released version so then the team would be able to see how he did his implementation.

Just wanted to note that since @philh30’s drivers are Apache licensed they could legally just be copied into the stock drivers, as long as Phil is credited in the copyright section of the code.
