This has been driving me crazy! Since an update (do not know which) location are not charging.
I also keep on getting:
And I don’t know if its normal but when setting location the “address bar” remains empty:
I did everything. Checked IDE, phone marked as placeholder, reinstalled, remove device and disabled get location and re-enabled. Nothing 
Help.
Contact ST support and let them investigate. There could be an issue with your account or something else.
Usually the address bar is blank as you move the map around and then when you stop moving it is populated with the address of the centre point. It can take a second or two though.
You can click on the address bar to search for an address. That can be a little strange.
Still nothing. Tried waiting, searching, using US and UK Addresses and even using the Locate Button.
