Location missing from Simulator

I am going to the My First SmartApp experience and I am wondering why the default Home location does not show up in the IDE Simulator.

Here is a screenshot of the My Locations page followed by a screenshot of the Simulator tab:

The Home location was created first. I created the Virtual location later when I noticed that no location is showing up in the simulator.

Is there something special that I have setup for the Home locations that makes it not appear in the simulator list of locations?

I just had the same issue.

This step is critical. After you login make sure you do this. Go to location and select Home. Then to SmartApps and create the App. Home will show up in the simulator by default.
