Location from 2 iPhones to arm/disarm

My partner has had a new iPhone. And I didn’t remove the old phone before resetting it. Now I can’t get the arm/disarm to work from her iPhone. I’ve tried lots of different ways. Uninstalling app. Removing her from my account and re adding. Still not working. Has been working seamlessly for years now this. Both have always allowed in location settings. Any help would be appreciated. Paul

So how are you handling the arming and disarming? Are you using the functionality built into Home Monitor (Life > Home monitor > Settings > Security > Useful features > Home security management), or are you rolling your own via Routines or other automations? Either way you haven’t mentioned updating the configurations to use the new phone.

just checking - you did enable Get your location from this iPhone in the ST app on the new iPhone? Menu > Settings > enable get his location from this iPhone

Also check your routines that use the member’s location and update those with the exclamation mark.

I had to update them when I deleted and reinstalled the app.

Using the geolocation that built into SmartThings which has always been fine previously. Basically just to arm and disarm the home alarm system I have connected to ST.

I did use the location from new phone but doesn’t arm or disarm at all now.

I did this on the new iPhone. Deleted the app and reinstalled it. Then got the location using that iPhone. The two names have both came up with just iPhone so I’m guessing the two should be different but not sure how to change what it registered the iPhone as ?
I have changed iPhones before and never had this issue.

If you go in AWA. How many phones do you see listed for her?

There are only 2 iPhones showing. Both called iPhone …

does one have Location Name showing and the other is blank? or both showing the Location name?
