Hi, I am new to all this and adding devices gradually. Does this garage opener allow normal opening and closing of the garage from the current wall buttons as well as remotely from the car as it functions normally, AND gives me the ability to open it/close it from my iphone? OR, does the iphone operation somehow messes up or interferes with the normal functionality that I currently have? Thanks.
The Linear Garage Door Opener does not affect the operation of the wall button or a car’s remote control.
Your garage door opener simply thinks it is a another wall button.
Garage door openers can have multiple wall buttons if desired.
This model and theory is the same for any “home automation” garage door opener, not just Linear’s.
