I have WEMO and GE in wall switches connected to my Smartthings hub however when a routine is executed the status of the device does not always update correctly. For example if the kitchen lights are activated as part of the ‘Good Morning’ routine the status shows as off in the app but the routine has activated them and they are on. This issue then means that if I run the ‘Goodbye’ routine which is supposed to switch off all lighting etc… the status shows as already off and therefore the system does not switch off the lights. This issue is inconstant, sometimes it works flawlessly and sometimes not at all. Has anyone else had this issue and if so any suggestions on resolving? I have had a support ticket open with Smartthings but the responses have not helped at all and at the moment the system really doesn’t help me if I need to check the real status of the lights constantly.
