Leviton DZ15S-1BZ Always shows as "ON" in ST

I just installed a Leviton DZ15S-1BZ Decora Smart Switch, and everything went smooth, I can turn the light on and off without issue, but if I view it in ST it always says the light is on.

If I then try to turn it off in ST then nothing happens at the switch, it stays off as expected, then if I turn it on in ST it turns the light on.

But, here’s the problem, I go into ST and turn it off, and nothing happens as expected on the switch. Now ST shows it as being off, I then go to another screen in ST and then come back and it now shows it as being on again.

I have several other items including a GE fan switch and everything behaves as expected, so my question is, do I have it misconfigured in ST or is it defective?

Did you ever fix this? Looking to get a switch.

Turned out to be a bad switch. The others I ordered worked as expected, so I exchanged it and haven’t had any issues with them.
