This is good news.

Not sure when it happened, but unlike some other kasa light switch models, the new KS225 dimmer with matter over Wi-Fi is UL listed.

Also, I see it’s starting to show up at multiple retailers on sale for about $25.

Installed the KS205 supporting Matter under Smartthings and works quite well. No need to install Kasa app and runs locally. However, Kasa app is required for firmware updates.
