Jan 17, 2018 and Jan 18, 2018 the HUB was down

Did anybody else experience anything unusual during these 2 days ?
Why is the HUB so unreliable ?

Only seems to mention scheduled automations and smartapps - nothing about connectivity.

Mine has been absolutely useless since the new year on the verge of throwing it in bin.
Needs to be rebooted at least once a day, it keeps on dropping connection to Hue hub.

What we need is a option to disable all these automatic updates in the hub mine was perfect up until this month.
