Is there a way to report a custom status

I have a moisture sensor hacked to work as a motion sensor.

The smartthings alert says “moisture detected” and I would prefer it to say something else. Is it possible to change without changing the driver? (The driver is working well)

Nope. You’re going to have to create your own driver and manipulate the emitted events to have them say what you want.

Yes, I’m going to connect one to a pressure mat will need to create a driver for it
