I have an Iris garage door controller for SmartThings. I installed it and it works. After about 9 months, it disconnects from the hub, reports inaccurate status and is inoperable. If I unplug if for 10 seconds it will reset and work fine. It does it about once a month and typically when we are out of town. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Dead battery in Sensor?..
Try a z-wave repair. May also need to add something that repeats in between. Sounds like it’s at the edge of z-wave range.
I would check batteries in the sensor, perform a z-wave repair and if it is too far away, add a repeater. I have had my GoControl garage controller for over a year now with zero issues.
