I Shared the ST installed Alpstuga with Google Home and……
- The clock synchronised
- There is an ON-OFF button in Google home that switches the display.
Not sure if the synch stays ok of course.
Edit: After 24 hour it stays corrrect on the second.
Edit 2: lost time again
Edit3: and now the clock has been synchronised again. pfff
On Reddit somebody (and me too) was not 100% sure if the Grillplats works OK as a border router
Just did a test this morning with a remote Alpstuga with unstable connection. Too far away from the router.
Put a Grillplats somewhere in between and what do you know: within a few minutes the Alpstuga connected via the Grillplats.
Hallelujah. Matter over Thread is great.
-did not reboot the ST router
-did not touch or unplug the Alpstuga.
