I created a simulated button in the IDE and linked it to a routine. Works perfectly in the ST app. Now I want to link from Google Assistant in IFTTT to ST so I can activate the routine from Google Home. However, the simulated button is showing in IFTTT. All my simulated switches are showing, but not the button. Are buttons not supported? Do we have to use a switch and make sure it is switched off after the switch on?
I very much doubt they support “Button”. It is a rather convoluted concept (long story…).
Modify the DTH to make sure it has Capability Switch and properly issues an On followed by Off event.
