Remind me that I didn't hang up my keys

Another newbie request for help. When I come in the door and my hands are full I forget to hang up my keys in their designated spot. Then there’s a crisis because I can’t find my keys. Idea: Some kind of pressure sensitive sensor key hook/shelf that would alert me if I haven’t hung up my keys within x minutes of coming in the door. I have a door sensor, so it seems that all I would need is some kind of pressure sensor and then some kind of app/routine that would issue this warning. Any ideas on how to make this work? Disclaimer: I’m not a programmer!
