I see that Hue has built in ability to follow music beats or flash when a notification comes in or sync to apps like thunderstorms.
What would it take to get that same functionality with Osram lights and Smartthings?
How does it integrate with music?
There are a few works with Hue apps in Android ( and I assume Apple) app store.
I used one for Halloween to play sounds of storm through outdoor speakers and have Hue lights flash along with the lightning. There are several different soundboards with different synced light effects.

Nope. Hue lights do not have any audio input, and do not have a built-in ability to follow music. That functionality is added by 3rd party apps.
