Hub v1 Video integration

Hey guys, I know that most people are using v2 hubs with video surveillance but I have a quick question. I’m looking into getting some SmartCam HD Plus cameras from Costco. Is there any way for me to enable/disable the cameras based on SHM status with a v1 hub or will I have to upgrade my hub to get that level of integration?

You should be able to connect to them and do things like enable/disable and take still images,as long as it supports some form of http api. The thing you won’t get is the video capture and video streaming that comes with V2
