Hello, I think there is a timing issue between the routines, presence detection and Smart home Security. While my Smarthings v2 hub was in armed/stay mode, my IPhone was logged as arriving at 2:47am. Yet Security monitoring reported an intrusion at 2:49am.
Logically the I am back routine should have disarmed my hub at 2:47am when I arrived. Instead there seemed to be a delay between the arrival detection, I am back routine trigger and Security disarm.
Unless this is fixed, false alarms will be common and Smart home Security is not reliable. Should this be happening?
No it should not be happening!!!
But it does.
Amazingly, scout and adt still monitor shm for a fee. With all the false alarms, that can’t last long.
