Starting Friday 12.6.2024 my hub started going offline several times a day, at some points several times an hour. I have my HA stuff on its own vlan, and besides the Hub, all vlans and network are fine with no issues. I have a V2 hub running 000.055.00004 as the firmware. I have rebooted the Hub, The switch the router and the Fiber ONT. I have tried to get logs from the hub, but I can’t seem to find were they are now. Will likely open a support ticket tomorrow, just reaching out here first
with 55.4 being released on the 5th… could it be related. You may want to post on centercode since you are in the beta firmware group and also post in the beta thread for 55.4 or the 55.4 firmware thread since it will start being pushed out tomorrow. Have you logged in to the Advanced Web App to have a look there?
Yea I am looking in the Advanced Web App, but for the life of me I cannot find hub logs. Maybe I am blind or the 4 year old running around has me in such ADHD that I am looking at it and missing it.
Hi @LadySapphy
was 000.055.00004 supposed to be released from tomorrow (9th Dec)? Are you on the beta program?
If you are running vlans I am not going to pretend to know more about LAN networking than you but I did have a recurring offline/online problem with my V2 hub some time ago.
While it was offline, I logged into my router and found that the V2 hub had a spurious IP address (way outside my LAN address range, or any of the IPV4 private address ranges).
I used my router configuration to pin my V2 hub to a valid IP address and the problem has never recurred. Might be worth a try.
As far as I know, enabling the hub logging simply makes it available for support. I haven’t found a way to view them.
No–but some days sure feel like that!
My home automation stuff at our home up north is all on a vlan, too. Moving to that was seamless–although it cost me a couple of bottles of good wine for our son to set it up! He’s the network guru in the family & left me in the dust some years back…
