So my hub, which I purchased to replace another hub that died, has also died.
No lights-nothing. Power supply tests good.
Contact Samsung and they inform me since it is beyond the warranty period that I have to purchase a new one. It is beyond the warranty period BY THREE F’ING DAYS!!!
That’s not the worst of it. I am SHOCKED to find out that there is no backup and restore.
I have spent countless hours getting the automations to work properly through their garbage interface.
WHAT CLOUD ENABLED DEVICE IN 2020 DOESN’T HAVE A RESTORE OPTION!!!
So -the hardware sucks-dies in 368 days. (I have NEVER had another other smart device just “die” and this is my second hub that croaked.)
The software sucks-(No backup-SERIOUSLY?) And you mean to tell me I have to use the old app AND the new app to make it do what should be simple automations? How does that make any sense?
And support sucks-3 days and you’re telling me I’m s### out of luck?
