Honestly, at this point your best bet is to wait until Matter is out in about six months and then, assuming smartthings has released the matter support that they are currently working on, you’ll just need to look for devices that have the matter logo and they should work just fine with smartthings.
If you really really want to do it before then, the options are the same as they’ve ever been:

Open the Smartthings app, choose add a device, and then select from the models there. Remember that even if it company is listed it doesn’t mean that all of the devices that it has are part of its integration. But those are going to be the smoothest
