Here is another idea… will cost some more money though. You may have heard of Automatic, the little dongle that connects to your car. This thread is old but I think the app still works. Also, there is an IFTTT integration.

Hello, My Automatic Service Manager is now able to receive real-time events through webhooks. I think that this integration would potentially bring more ST users to Automatic and vice-versa. It’s sort of win-win situation for both platforms. ST support of websockets could also be a good solution in the long term.
