How do you re-pair a Aeon Labs Aeotec Z-Wave Multi-Sensor?

My batteries died in my multi-sensor, and for the life of me I cannot get SmartThings and the sensor to talk again. How do I reconnect the two, or get SmartThings to re-recognize the sensor?

I ran into this myself. I use a Aeon Minimote to exclude the device. To make sure that it is off the network. Remove the batteries wait a few minutes, re-add the batteries and then try to re-add to ST. It tends to go off ST every so often, so I have done this often. Seems to work for me.

How do you use the Aeon Minimize to exclude? I have one, but have it set up to control other things on SmartThings, not this particular sensor.

Manual: second entry

Thanks, I will give it a try when I get home!

Thanks Tyler! I will try excluding from the app when I get home. Hopefully it works.
