How can i access the SmartThings API Browser+ to check the security mode

I had a Yale z-wave lock on my door for the past 3 years. for the first 2 years the batteries lasted 912 months. 2 months ago the batteries started lasting 1 week. i thought the lock was defective. i bought a schlage, installed it with brand new batteries and the batteries died in 5 days. same problem as the yale. the z-wave light switch (which acts as a repeater) is 4ft away and the hub itself is 10ft away.
ChatGPT says to check the security mode through the “SmartThings API Browser+” but https://api.smartthings.com/ returns: " 404 Not Found

openresty"

How do i access it?
Thank You,
Albert

ChatGPT is hallucinating in this case.

Apparently. However, I did realize I forgot to renew the certificate since I’ve been traveling the last few weeks

Dammit.
about what? about https://api.smartthings.com/ ?
or about security mode s0 being a possible cause for the battery drain?

You can get the ZWave security level using the API call https://api.smartthings.com/devices/“deviceID”?locationId=“locationID”
