I have a fire pit that is wired for remote start and worried that someone might turn it on while the lid is in place. I’d love to be able to put a contact or pressure sensor (lid is heavy) in there to prevent turning on when the lid is down. However, this being both high-temp open flame and outdoor environment makes this complicated. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
