I am just trying to link my linear garage door opener to IFTTT to open and close via voice command, Ive tried all the device handler scripts out there, none of them work or trigger the door to go up or down, anyone have an ideas?
I use the Rboy device handler that turn the Garage Door into a switch. The it works perfectly with Alexa.
Wasn’t to happy about paying 25$ for one device handler but that did work! still 25 bucks was a bit much lol. Thanks for the advice
Well you are paying $25 for not just that, but any script @RBoy creates. Also he provides timely support and most of the time releases patches to fix problems created by ST before ST has time to get it’s act together. I think its a great investment.
