Hello, I am thinking of building a home automation system with some security features, and ST is one of the systems I am looking at. I generally try to look at these things for a while, and am too busy at work to get started building, but I figured I would poke around here for a while to see what I could learn as I start to make my decision. While I am leaning towards ST, I am also looking at VeraEdge and a few other options. I am an engineer, and enjoy tinkering, so a DYI project like this is right up my alley. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and give everyone a preemptive thank you for all the help I am sure I will get along the way.
