At 4:46am, an older GE by Jasco Zwave smart switch that powers ceiling can lights turned on. It did so on its own. I’ve seen this behavior with this specific switch on occasion before. It didn’t even acknowledge the previous dimmer setting of 22%, but came on at 67%. (At 452am onwards, all was done by direct control on our end.)
There are NO routines whatsoever attached to this device.
Before I just rip it out of the wall and replace it, anyone have ideas on why this happened? Or possible cures to it? (short of dumb routines that check if it’s coming on in the AM wee hours and turning it back off…)
When I looked closer, the time pattern didn’t really look like what others have seen from magical Alexa routines. Those usually show up at the same time each day.
Anything else integrated with your SmartThings?
You might search the forums for how to dump the hub logs, see if that gives you any clue.
You could perhaps scroll back through the location history (the one on the Menu tab of the mobile app) to see if anything else was happening at the same time but it is ridiculously tedious and I suspect won’t help.
