I recently purchased two SmartThings 2018 hubs. Both of them are displaying a functional false status for the Z-Wave. Is this a known issue? If so, how can I resolve it? I’ve tried resetting the devices multiple times, but nothing seems to work.
I noticed an old chat from 2016 where someone mentioned that they could potentially turn the Z-Wave module on and off. However, that functionality doesn’t seem to be available anymore in 2025. Could you please provide some suggestions on what I can try?
Additionally, I’m wondering if I can use the SmartThings CLI to perform any actions.
This is the process I used to link the hub to my phone. I reset the hub when it alternates orange/green. I start the pairing process with my iPhone. I did this process on both Ethernet and wifi. Then the device downloads latest firmware. After install happens and then I can see my hub on my network. When I go look at my hub on the app and click information I get the following:
