GE ZW3010 slow reporting

I have installed the GE ZW3010 dimmer. When I adjust the dimmer from the paddle switch updates to changes made often are not shown in Smartthings for minutes. This includes changes in dimming level and turning the dimmer off. For whatever reason, turning the dimmer on from the paddle switch is reported promptly. There is also no delay adjusting the dimmer from Smartthings. I have tried different device handlers and get the same behavior.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Have you run z-wave repair to see if that has any effect?

No. Why should I hope that would help? Communication is reliable in most cases and at all times.
